چکیده

The nematode family, Anguinidae, is a diverse group of polyphagous nematodes, generally known as fungal feeders or parasites aerial plant parts. Here, we present the morphological and molecular characterization adult females two Nothotylenchus species, N. medians similis, along with host association geographical distribution data genus. Both species are recorded new reports from Canada designated reference populations for future studies. Morphological morphometrical variation was not observed in Canadian population comparison original description. Phylogenetic analyses based on 18S D2–D3 28S genes placed both within Anguinidae. Since biology genus has been rigorously characterized, habitat information presented this study will shed some light ecology these nematodes. Notably, detection similis our inventory survey indicates that considerable diversity hidden soils. Consequently, increased surveys more in-depth research needed to explore full anguinids inhabiting cultivated areas.
